Terms and Conditions

• The minimum purchase is $100 (100 pixels)
• The maximum purchase is how ever many you want.
• When you purchase pixels from One Million Web Sites you will not own any part of the site. One Million Web Sites (OMW) is an advertising tool where you can submit an image and link which will then be published on the pixel page.
• You cannot change the image or link once you have submitted them, so you must be sure of the image & link you want on the pixel page, which will be here for at least 5 years. Your link/image can only be changed if your site is permanently down, change in link or any other major reason.
• Once your image and link are published on OMW, you will not be eligible for a refund all sales are final.
• The site and homepage will be online for at least 5 years and hopefully many years to come, so at least until October, 1st 2010.
• No obscene/offensive/adult images/links will be accepted. If you submit an image or link that is later found to break this condition, you will be asked to provide an alternative, NO money will be refunded and the pixels will be sold to another party if you are unable to provide an alternative link/image within 48 hours.
• If at any time you change the content of the linked site you must notify One Million Web Sites, so we are aware of the change and your new content does not violate our rules. .No obscene/offensive/adult images linked sites are allowed. If you violate this condition your image/link will be removed immediately and you will be contacted to provide an alternative link/image. You will not in any way receive a refund due to the link downtime.
• If for whatever reason in the future you want your image and link removed from the pixel page, you will be allowed to do that, but you will not receive a refund and the pixels will become available for sale.
• Images are automatically resized to fit the pixels you order so you must ensure you are happy with the image before making your payment by 'Viewing' it on the pixel page first.
• Images must be in GIF or JPEG format.
• Animated images are not allowed on One Million Web Sites, if you submit an animated image, either the first frame of the animation will be used or it will be removed totally and you will be contacted for a new image.
• All Links must be to web pages only and begin with http://
• You must have the authority to provide the image and link for the website you submit, if you do not and we become aware of this your image/link will be removed and you will not receive a refund.
• All orders are processed automatically as soon as we receive confirmation from the payment processor of your payment, generally your image/link will be posted within a few minutes.
• For the time being we are only accepting PayPal as a form of payment.

What is One Million Web Sites?

You will see the main background image is made of 10,000 small blocks, each block is 10x10 pixels making a total of 1,000,000 pixels.

You can purchase these blocks and place your own image/logo in them with a link to your site. (minimum 1 block) for just $100 a block equivalent to just $20 a year.

Once a block has been ordered (ie before Paypal has confirmed payment) your blocks will be reserved for 24 hours, which allows for any delays there may be in them notifying the server of the payment. Once notification has been received (normally within seconds or minutes) your image/logo and link will be added permanently to One Million Web Sites.

Once your image/link has been permanently added no one else can place their image over yours.

One Million Web Sites is automated, you size and position your image, view it on position and then pay via Paypal and your image and link is then permanently added.

Why 'One Million Web Sites'?

Hi, my name is Giovanni, a friend of mine suggested this idea a few days ago after seeing the popularity of links on MillionDollarHomepage. Where she tried buying an ad for her online T-Shirts store, but it's Sold Out. No, I am dead serious. I initially laughed at the idea but considering Google adwords is a waste of money, due to people clicking on the ads on their own sites, and competitors clicking on others ads ( just try running an Adwords campaign for anything.com - pay $1 a click and see how fast your budget will be depleted, If I were a Google stock owner, I'd click on anything that's a Google ad, even if I dont know what anything.com sells - which I dont ). It's the only business model I know of where the stock owners can generate millions of dollars a day for themselves, just by simply clicking on ads or having others click ( hence the ClickBanks ) if you own stock in oil, how many gallons can you put in your car(s)? 30?, If you own Google stock, how many clicks can you perform a day? Millions! to a small online business running a google adwords campaign 30 bogus clicks a day, can ruin their business.

Why are you selling by the block?

A Pixel is far to small to consider trying to sell, you would never see the image and the link will never get clicked on. A Block is realistically the smallest size you could use.

The domain name is currently registered for 5 years and is currently hosted with the good people of HostGator who have helped me alot with the programming and codes, but I plan to keep the site running for alot longer if Hostgator agrees to more time. actually even if i don't make any money - I will feel good cause I offered an alternative to the mom and pop establishments that are selling services and their wares online and can avoid being fleeced by Adwords :-)
